As part of supporting the education and development of infection control healthcare professionals, SleepAngel participated in the recent Reducing HCAI Conference, 2014. We were pleased to welcome a master class by  Martin Kiernan, Nurse Consultant entitled “Beds of Roses. Maintenance of safe patient environments by nurses” which examined the infection control issues posed by medical bedding.

As a result of the excellent reception by conference delegates, SleepAngel is providing easy to use educational tool kits, including a new hospital pillow audit programme, to interested infection control personnel.
