NHS: Sharing Best Practice

As part of advancing education and sharing best practice, UK NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups are sharing learnings from the Hospital Pillow Audit and Equipment Selection programme developed by Infection Control personnel at Royal Liverpool Hospital and supported by SleepAngel.

The programme combines practical learnings from NHS clinical facilities with the findings of Martin Kiernan, who presented a master class, entitled “Beds of Roses, Maintenance of safe patient environments by nurses” at the recent GovToday, Reducing HCAI Conference in London. The programme examines new practices in cleaning, auditing and selecting product that have been shown to reduce contamination and patient infection risks associated with patient environments and patient medical bedding.

Programme contents are available now from SleepAngel, contact Conor Stapleton, cstapleton@gabrielscientific.com
